Holidays...finally

So, my holidays finally arrived. I was a bit frustrated with myself that I had nothing big planned, but then I realized I was putting too much stock in an extravagant holiday. So I relaxed and decided to enjoy what I did have planned, and take things as they came, which turned out to be a good thing. It was a super week and a half ... and it's not totally done yet. I enjoyed a wedding, did a ton of window shopping, ate out a few times, rode a train (Oops! I was recently informed that I made a slight typo...should be RODE a train, not ROAD a train) and a gondola, and saw the ocean from the car. I helped people move, cleaned my house, did some baking, read some books, and took a lot of photos. Here are just a few of the different places I did go.

Lunch in Fort Langley
Near the Canada/US border on a walk with a friend
The view from Whistler Mountain
Steam clock in Gastown
The train and tracks in Mission
Now, there's just one more day ... Monday the reality of life hits once again.
