Glimpses Of God

I love seeing glimpses of God in the everyday. Sometimes it takes effort to see, but it's always rewarding. Yesterday evening I was out running errands as the sun was setting. The sky was cloudy but there was some sun shining through in places, and in one spot I saw a quarter-moon shaped crack in the cloud with orangey-pink light shining through. It was stunning! A week and a half ago, I was on the road and even though it was cloudy, the clouds seemed to be behind the mountains making the mountains more prominent and beautiful. At times like these when I see the awesome beauty around, I wish I had a camera in hand. But I know that the camera cannot really capture the awesome-ness of it. Sometimes it's enough to know that God's awesome power and creativity is displayed in his creation. It's always there, I just need to take the time to see it.
