Christmas 2007

I was chastised today for not updating my blog since before Christmas...so here I am with an update. What's happened since then? LOTS! I'll see how much I can remember.
First of all, there was the Christmas Eve program. I think my favourite part of the evening was when one of the 2-3 yr olds wouldn't say his line "There was no room" or something like that. He just said NO quite loudly into the mike when his teacher asked him to say his line. It was cute and made everyone laugh. I was thankful when it was all over since then I could relax and really enjoy Christmas.
Family times were good, lots of food, lots of people, lots of relaxing.
It snowed on Christmas Day...quite a bit actually, which is somewhat unusual around here. I got to enjoy dinner with my sister-in-law's family, which was quite a lot of fun. During December, I spent quite a bit of time at their house for different parties and such...wonderful hosts, wonderful food ... thanks so much!
New Years was a quiet affair...fondue, casual games, Corner Gas, and home by 12:30. That was in preparation for a fun week with immediate family. We went away to a cabin in the interior to celebrate Christmas and just be together before my brother and sister-in-law headed back to Winnipeg. Oh what fun we had relaxing, playing games, talking, eating, ice skating, .... It was probably the highlight of Christmas for me.

Okay, that's enough for now. I'm starting to fall asleep here. More updates to come in the next few days. (That means I'm committed now, right?!?)
