Another Christmas

Well, it's December. Today I realized that while it seems like the month has barely begun, it's already 9 days in. I'm trying to be intentional about not getting caught up in the commercial hub-bub of Christmas, focusing on the actual reason for celebration during this time of the year.

It's not always easy though. I have many small reminders throughout my day, from the small book I'm reading about Christmas, to my small ipod that contains beautiful music like "The Messiah" and other Christmas carols, to the small nativity figures I have lining my fireplace. It's all about the tiny little baby that came so many years ago with such a HUGE purpose. WOW! Now THAT'S something worth celebrating!
