Summer Fun

I am trying to do things this summer that I've either always wanted to do, or stuff that I know I enjoy. With my actual holiday time not happening until near the end of August, I figured it's important to make the most of weekends and enjoy doing fun things when I have time.  I wrote up a list of things I want to do and am slowly checking things off. It's been neat to discover a few things locally that I didn't know about, and also to see places I don't go all that often.

For instance, there's a used bookstore in Abby which I had never been in before. I found some Agatha Christie books there that I hadn't read so that was a treat. Chilliwack also has one and I could have spent a long time in there, but time was limited that day. Last Saturday my sister and I headed to downtown Vancouver and browsed through a bunch of different stores including Chapters. (Hmm, I'm beginning to see a theme here.) The weather was beautiful and made for a really nice day. Of course we had to stop at IKEA on the way home...

Yesterday some friends and I went on a fun photo shoot day to White Rock. It was also a beautiful day and I caught some of the scenery. Here is a small glimpse.
