Scenes in the country

I decided that since I love taking pictures but hate wasting film on random shots, it was definitely time to move from the world of 35mm to digital. With some help from my parents, I was able to get a really nice digital camera. [Thanks for the airmiles!] This will be a great investment for my travels and just for everyday use. Of course there are many buttons and settings that I'm not sure how to use, or how they affect the picture, but I'm having fun with it so far. Since it was a nice day today, I went for a walk this afternoon with my camera...sounds like I'm taking the "dog" for a walk...and took a bunch of pictures. Here are a few of the better ones.

PENGUIN... welcome to the wonderful world of blogging. I love the pics that your great camera can take. Just one thing was missing from the fire hydrant pic...a dog peeing on it...oh well better luck next time. Cheers girl and see ya on Thursday. Turtle.
