Last week I spent a few days at a retreat centre with my work colleagues from various offices. It was a good time away from the office. Casual conversations, serious discussions, and heart-to-heart prayer times made for a refreshing yet emotional few days. The weather wasn't the greatest, but I was reminded again how I do enjoy the rain, even though it is around so much. The sound of it is so soothing, and is refreshing to me, just like those days away. Then the glimpses of sunshine are so much more appreciated!
One afternoon we had a break and the sun was out. A bunch of us went for a walk, and of course I took my camera. Here are a few things I saw.

Turning back to look at the path I had come from reminded me that I am on a journey. It is filled with surprises, with challenges, with dark parts, and with unknowns, but God is always there, walking with me.
