The end of another year

Another year of youth is done, and what a year it was. It was a year of serious Bible studies, rambunctious youth boys, bonding get-away retreats, and lots of crazy games. Thursday was our final night of the year, and while it is somewhat sad to see the year over, it is definitely time for a break. This spring has been a tiring one for me and I am looking forward to having my Thursday nights free to rejuvenate and prepare for next fall. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of events.
All the youth and sponsors that ate dried caterpillars from Botswana

We spent an evening at the Fraser Valley Gleaners. Here are some youth scraping dried vegetables into bins for storage.

We also husked a lot of corn...

The year-end party almost always has an element of water and/or getting dirty. This year was no exception. Each team had a shaving-cream "snowman" that they had to protect from "disintegrating" by water. Lots of shaving cream, lots of water, and lots of fun!

Now bring on the sun and lazy days of summer...
