The Season of Fall

I can usually find something to enjoy about each season, but I have to say fall is my absolute favourite for lots of reasons.

1. Watching the colours of the leaves as they change from green.

2. The start of things - school, programs, etc.

3. Making and eating soups and stews.

4. The fireplace.

5. Reading indoors when it's raining outside.

6. Baking.

7. My birthday. :)

I'm sure there are more reasons to enjoy fall, but this is a good start. Lately I've been taking lots of pictures of nature around me, but I never seem to capture the essence of what I see and feel. It reminds me that I need to enjoy my surroundings more and more rather than trying to capture it as a photo. Nonetheless, here are a few of the pictures I've taken recently in Horn Creek Park behind my house.
